Preventative maintenance is a must for any car. Yet, many car owners neglect their cars. As a result, a small problem that could have easily been treated by the driver turns into large problem that must be fixed by a pricey mechanic. New drivers are even more likely to forget to check their cars systems and fluid levels and are therefore more susceptible to high priced repairs. Please follow the points listed below in order to ensure your vehicle's safety.

Ensure vehicle cleanliness - clean glasses & mirrors ensure good visibility & safety

Always walk around the vehicle before entering it - check tires for adequate pressure or punctures. (Check tire pressures at least once every 15 days. Periodically check spare tire for proper inflation)

Check exterior body for fresh or new scratches/damages, if any.

Check for availability of vehicle Registration Card copy. Confirm validity of registration/insurance.

Check service-due km on sticker affixed in the corner of front windscreen.

Check fuel level.

Check/reset seat & mirror adjustments.

Before driving, check instrument cluster to ensure 'warning lights' for low engine oil, low coolant, low brake fluid etc. are not glowing (Recommended 6-point check in engine compartment once every 15 days - Radiator water, Engine Oil, Brake fluid, Windscreen water, Transmission fluid, Battery water).
